Overview

CSS3 is changing how we build the web. Even though many of us are still disinclined to start using CSS3 due to the lack of support in some browsers, there are those out there that are moving forward and doing some amazing Css3 Dropdown Menu Templates stuff with its cool new features. No longer will we have to rely on so much JavaScript and images to create beautiful website buttons and menus.

You can create a fancy rounded navmenu with gradients, with no images and no Javascript. This menu works perfectly well with Firefox, Opera, Chrome and Safari. The drop down also works on non-CSS3 compitable browsers such as IE7+, but the rounded corners and shadow will not be rendered. CSS3 transitions could one day replace all the nice javascript animation things.

How to use

1) Open Drop Down Menu HTML software and click "Add item" and "Add submenu" buttons situated on the Drop Down Menu HTML Toolbar to create your Side Menu Dropdown For Joomla menu. You can also use "Delete item" to delete some buttons.

2) Use ready to use Templates. To do it just select theme you like in the "Templates" list. Double-click the theme you like to apply it.

3) Adjust appearance of the menu.
3.1. Select item by clicking it and change button appearance for normal and hover states and set buttons link properties and link target attributes on the "Main menu" tab.
3.2. Select submenu's item by clicking it and change submenu's appearance for normal and hover states and set submenu's item link properties and link target attributes on the "Submenu" tab.

4) Save your menu.
4.1. Save your project file. To save project just click "Save" button on the Toolbar or select "Save" or "Save As" in the Main menu.
4.2. Publish your menu in the HTML format. To do it click "Publish" button on the Toolbar.

I have got the aspmenu samples css entire CSS menu working good, but when the css hide menu text display image user mouses over the main menu item, I would like the submenu items to appear underneath it and go from left to right as oppossed to top to bottom (horizontal vs vertical). i.e. as per your dhtml dropdown expanding menu example, home item would appear to the double drop down menu with jquery right of help section, and so on. any help would be greatly appreacited!!

I’ve used many of these milyway dropdown menu menus, however I’m still wary of using CSS3 on live sites, but salivating over the prospect of it becoming de rigeur in the web multilevel menu css future, and lapping up everything I can about it in the advantage of drop down menue meantime – so thanks for mega demo in particular.

Great tool. I had a create dropdownmenu umbraco home-grown css menu that was working, but not in IE7 - yours does - thanks. One problem I seem to be having is that while the menu work on the blogger header drop down menu widget home page, when I click on a css menus with subsection different menu option, the menu repositions itself (incorrectly). if I click the css interactive menu vertical Refresh button, the menu returns to the jquery drop down sprite menu correct position. Any ideas/assistance would be much appreciated.

It works properly in IE 7 and 8, works fine in IE 9. The wordpress vertical drop down menus drop down menus instantly disappear when trying to hover over them. I haven't a zend navigation megadropdown clue as to why this is happening. Have tried many different "fixes" on this comment section but still nothing. Any ideas? z-index doesn't work at all.

Open up your downloaded file in a good looking css pop out menu web browser. Once open, right click and select view page source. Your css subtab menu code is now visible. You can either put the Styles code in an external css file and link to it, or use it on your custom drop down menu in flex page. The Menu section - bottom half of the menu desplegable css javascript code - should be positioned in your html code where you want it on your multiple javascript select dropdown menu web page. Until I need to add an joomla floating flash menu drop down item to it. then comes to re-keying the free drop down menus html hover whole thing back in again. And after two or three tries I get it right. On the basic css horizontal drop down menu profile page it looks like you might be able to save a module menu joomla drop up template or menu bar. But I can find no place to do that. Can you tell me how to save my css vertical menu wrap text work to go back and make changes?

One - the generator places stylesheets inside the <body> tag instead of <head>, so was wondering if it is intentional.
