Overview

CSS3 is changing how we build the web. Even though many of us are still disinclined to start using CSS3 due to the lack of support in some browsers, there are those out there that are moving forward and doing some amazing Jquery Slidedown Dropdown Menu stuff with its cool new features. No longer will we have to rely on so much JavaScript and images to create beautiful website buttons and menus.

You can create a fancy rounded navmenu with gradients, with no images and no Javascript. This menu works perfectly well with Firefox, Opera, Chrome and Safari. The drop down also works on non-CSS3 compitable browsers such as IE7+, but the rounded corners and shadow will not be rendered. CSS3 transitions could one day replace all the nice javascript animation things.

How to use

1) Open Drop Down Menu HTML software and click "Add item" and "Add submenu" buttons situated on the Drop Down Menu HTML Toolbar to create your Horizontal Submenu Css Joomla menu. You can also use "Delete item" to delete some buttons.

2) Use ready to use Templates. To do it just select theme you like in the "Templates" list. Double-click the theme you like to apply it.

3) Adjust appearance of the menu.
3.1. Select item by clicking it and change button appearance for normal and hover states and set buttons link properties and link target attributes on the "Main menu" tab.
3.2. Select submenu's item by clicking it and change submenu's appearance for normal and hover states and set submenu's item link properties and link target attributes on the "Submenu" tab.

4) Save your menu.
4.1. Save your project file. To save project just click "Save" button on the Toolbar or select "Save" or "Save As" in the Main menu.
4.2. Publish your menu in the HTML format. To do it click "Publish" button on the Toolbar.

Great Software, Easy to use. One question? How long will we have to build our sites with the dropdown menu facebox style IE6 workarounds? If a horizontal menu css breadcrumbs customer isn’t updating his browsers or if computers are not being updated, catering to their glass horizontal menus css needs just makes the double navigation css problem harder to fix and more work for us. I have got the entire CSS menu working good, but when the drop down navigation bar html user mouses over the dhtml open source menu css main menu item, I would like the submenu items to appear underneath it and go from left to right as oppossed to top to bottom (horizontal vs vertical). i.e. as per your example, home item would appear to the cakephp admin menu dropdown right of help section, and so on. any help would be greatly appreacited!!

So I should move both manually up and down, right? Great tool. I had a home-grown css menu that was working, but not in IE7 - yours does - thanks. I have enlarged the moodle custom css menu in ie6 width to my menu bar, from 100% to 300%. I have added 6 items to on this bar. After the sous menu css tab enlargement the items are not centered anymore. Hi I love the menu submenu css site and the generator. The only negative would be that the full css menu apple navigation isn't accessible for people using screen readers as you can't use the tab key to highlight and select through the make dropline horizontal menu in wordpress menus.

Until I need to add an horizontal dropline menus for joomla item to it. then comes to re-keying the css menu transparency blur demo whole thing back in again. And after two or three tries I get it right. On the drop down menus for tumblr blogs profile page it looks like you might be able to save a template or menu bar. But I can find no place to do that.
