Overview

CSS3 is changing how we build the web. Even though many of us are still disinclined to start using CSS3 due to the lack of support in some browsers, there are those out there that are moving forward and doing some amazing Free Online Css Menu Builder stuff with its cool new features. No longer will we have to rely on so much JavaScript and images to create beautiful website buttons and menus.

You can create a fancy rounded navmenu with gradients, with no images and no Javascript. This menu works perfectly well with Firefox, Opera, Chrome and Safari. The drop down also works on non-CSS3 compitable browsers such as IE7+, but the rounded corners and shadow will not be rendered. CSS3 transitions could one day replace all the nice javascript animation things.

How to use

1) Open Drop Down Menu HTML software and click "Add item" and "Add submenu" buttons situated on the Drop Down Menu HTML Toolbar to create your Sliding Dropdown Menu Horizontal Style menu. You can also use "Delete item" to delete some buttons.

2) Use ready to use Templates. To do it just select theme you like in the "Templates" list. Double-click the theme you like to apply it.

3) Adjust appearance of the menu.
3.1. Select item by clicking it and change button appearance for normal and hover states and set buttons link properties and link target attributes on the "Main menu" tab.
3.2. Select submenu's item by clicking it and change submenu's appearance for normal and hover states and set submenu's item link properties and link target attributes on the "Submenu" tab.

4) Save your menu.
4.1. Save your project file. To save project just click "Save" button on the Toolbar or select "Save" or "Save As" in the Main menu.
4.2. Publish your menu in the HTML format. To do it click "Publish" button on the Toolbar.

Great tool. I had a dropdown menu jquery vertical home-grown css menu that was working, but not in IE7 - yours does - thanks. One problem I seem to be having is that while the menu vertical only css menu work on the black navigation css menu home page, when I click on a css themes drop down menu different menu option, the css only navigation bar menu repositions itself (incorrectly). if I click the Refresh button, the menu returns to the menus css multi column slide correct position. Any ideas/assistance would be much appreciated.

It works properly in IE 7 and 8, works fine in IE 9. The joomla css menu mit submenu vertikal drop down menus instantly disappear when trying to hover over them. I haven't a drop down menu generator template clue as to why this strategy template drop down menu is happening. I have enlarged the width to my css3 simple menus menu bar, from 100% to 300%. I have added 6 items to on this creating drop down menu in iweb bar. After the css3 cascading menu enlargement the items are not centered anymore. I'm able to see only three of this items whick of course the are misaligned and are separated by a collapse menu css demo big gap. Does any body can help me with this issue? Thanks

Hi I love the site and the generator. The only negative would be that the html css horizontal menu auto resize navigation isn't accessible for people using screen readers as you can't use the easy delay to dropdown menu tab key to highlight and select through the menu design css menus.

I Build an free menus templates in css ajax extensive menu bar, which works great. Until I need to add an item to it. then comes to re-keying the whole thing back in again. And after two or three tries I get it right. On the profile page it looks like you might be able to save a jquery superfish horizontal sub navigation css template or menu bar. But I can find no place to do that. Can you tell me how to save my work to go back and make changes?

Hello and thank you for a css examples mega sub menu great app! A html5 template modernizr jquery dropdown menu couple of quick questions. One - the javascript nationality drop down menu generator places stylesheets inside the <body> tag instead of <head>, so was wondering if it is intentional. Another is that it does not quite work if I place the stylesheet in the external file. The nested menu items get displayed outside of the css3 navigation bar generator menu display area. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried different linking methods with <link> and @import, but it only works if I use the create drop down menu with flux stylesheet internally. Obviously, for a dreamweaver roll over drop down menu big site it would be nice to have it all in one file with multiple pages referencing it.
