Overview

CSS3 is changing how we build the web. Even though many of us are still disinclined to start using CSS3 due to the lack of support in some browsers, there are those out there that are moving forward and doing some amazing Css Menu Roteren stuff with its cool new features. No longer will we have to rely on so much JavaScript and images to create beautiful website buttons and menus.

You can create a fancy rounded navmenu with gradients, with no images and no Javascript. This menu works perfectly well with Firefox, Opera, Chrome and Safari. The drop down also works on non-CSS3 compitable browsers such as IE7+, but the rounded corners and shadow will not be rendered. CSS3 transitions could one day replace all the nice javascript animation things.

How to use

1) Open Drop Down Menu HTML software and click "Add item" and "Add submenu" buttons situated on the Drop Down Menu HTML Toolbar to create your Free Split Drop Down Menu Templates menu. You can also use "Delete item" to delete some buttons.

2) Use ready to use Templates. To do it just select theme you like in the "Templates" list. Double-click the theme you like to apply it.

3) Adjust appearance of the menu.
3.1. Select item by clicking it and change button appearance for normal and hover states and set buttons link properties and link target attributes on the "Main menu" tab.
3.2. Select submenu's item by clicking it and change submenu's appearance for normal and hover states and set submenu's item link properties and link target attributes on the "Submenu" tab.

4) Save your menu.
4.1. Save your project file. To save project just click "Save" button on the Toolbar or select "Save" or "Save As" in the Main menu.
4.2. Publish your menu in the HTML format. To do it click "Publish" button on the Toolbar.

I have got the vehicle drop down menus entire CSS menu working good, but when the apple dock css navigation user mouses over the beautiful menu bar in css main menu item, I would like the menu horizontal dropdown vista submenu items to appear underneath it and go from left to right as oppossed to top to bottom (horizontal vs vertical). i.e. as per your mouseover drop down menu as3 example, home item would appear to the jquery dropdown menu image onclick event right of help section, and so on. any help would be greatly appreacited!!

Great tool. I had a jquery drop down menu on click home-grown css menu that was working, but not in IE7 - yours does - thanks. It works properly in IE 7 and 8, works fine in IE 9. The css button menu asp drop down menus instantly disappear when trying to hover over them. I haven't a clue as to why this xp blue horizontal css drop menu is happening. Have tried many different "fixes" on this droppy menu horizontal jquery comment section but still nothing. Hi I love the site and the generator. The skin drop down menu only negative would be that the horizontal css menu design navigation isn't accessible for people using screen readers as you can't use the tab key to highlight and select through the three tier drop down menu jquery menus.

Not sure if this nice looking dropdown menu is the free css training menu best way to go about it but it worked. Hope that makes sence.
