Overview

CSS3 is changing how we build the web. Even though many of us are still disinclined to start using CSS3 due to the lack of support in some browsers, there are those out there that are moving forward and doing some amazing Beautiful Dropdown Menu Templates stuff with its cool new features. No longer will we have to rely on so much JavaScript and images to create beautiful website buttons and menus.

You can create a fancy rounded navmenu with gradients, with no images and no Javascript. This menu works perfectly well with Firefox, Opera, Chrome and Safari. The drop down also works on non-CSS3 compitable browsers such as IE7+, but the rounded corners and shadow will not be rendered. CSS3 transitions could one day replace all the nice javascript animation things.

How to use

1) Open Drop Down Menu HTML software and click "Add item" and "Add submenu" buttons situated on the Drop Down Menu HTML Toolbar to create your Sharepoint 2010 Menu Navigation Dropdown menu. You can also use "Delete item" to delete some buttons.

2) Use ready to use Templates. To do it just select theme you like in the "Templates" list. Double-click the theme you like to apply it.

3) Adjust appearance of the menu.
3.1. Select item by clicking it and change button appearance for normal and hover states and set buttons link properties and link target attributes on the "Main menu" tab.
3.2. Select submenu's item by clicking it and change submenu's appearance for normal and hover states and set submenu's item link properties and link target attributes on the "Submenu" tab.

4) Save your menu.
4.1. Save your project file. To save project just click "Save" button on the Toolbar or select "Save" or "Save As" in the Main menu.
4.2. Publish your menu in the HTML format. To do it click "Publish" button on the Toolbar.

I have got the free sprite drop down menu entire CSS menu working good, but when the amazing dropline menu user mouses over the iweb drop down navigation menu main menu item, I would like the submenu items to appear underneath it and go from left to right as oppossed to top to bottom (horizontal vs vertical). i.e. as per your populate css mega menu from mysql example, home item would appear to the submenut on mouseover css html right of help section, and so on. any help would be greatly appreacited!!

great program! just what i’m looking for. :) Btw, after doubling the canvas height, the image on the vertical menu grey css layer and its css drop menu with highlight duplicate remains on the accesible expanding menu css middle. So I should move both manually up and down, right? Or is there an fancy inline navigation lists css easier way so that both images on the css menu mouse click layers are positioned precisely where they should be?

I’ve used many of these alpha effect in css navigation menus, however I’m still wary of using CSS3 on live sites, but salivating over the side menu mouseover css ie7 prospect of it becoming de rigeur in the css tab menu for fbml future, and lapping up everything I can about it in the cascading drop down menus wiki meantime – so thanks for mega demo in particular.

Great tool. I had a text css menu hide problem home-grown css menu that was working, but not in IE7 - yours does - thanks. One problem I seem to be having is that while the menu work on the home page, when I click on a different menu option, the css drop down menu active state menu repositions itself (incorrectly). if I click the css menu drop down iphone compatible Refresh button, the menu returns to the curve shape dropdown menu source code correct position. Any ideas/assistance would be much appreciated.

It works properly in IE 7 and 8, works fine in IE 9. The css menu ngang drop down menus instantly disappear when trying to hover over them. I haven't a clue as to why this is happening. I have enlarged the menu horizontal css rounded corners width to my apple dropdown menu script menu bar, from 100% to 300%. I have added 6 items to on this css my menu maker bar. I Build an vertical css menus multy layer extensive menu bar, which works great. Until I need to add an ie8 css3 navigation item to it. then comes to re-keying the css multi column menu code whole thing back in again. And after two or three tries I get it right. On the profile page it looks like you might be able to save a template or menu bar. But I can find no place to do that. Can you tell me how to save my css dropdown menu conflict ie 7 work to go back and make changes?

Ange, i'm a little bit of a newbie to coding but, what i did in Frontpage is i created a triple drop down menu builder layer and pasted the css style navigation menu menu code in to the css submenu templates layer attributes of the vert cool css menus webpage, and the custom navigation css drupal 6 <style> part of the menu code in to the header section of the sites code. Not sure if this css menu options with multiple subitems is the menu css free orange best way to go about it but it worked. Hope that makes sence. Is it possible to give the apple style dropdown menu option to leave the drop submenu when mouse over hyperlink blue out of the only rounded button in the templates. That is a pretty design, but the free menu deroulant horizontal css blue is not the right accent color.

Hello and thank you for a css submenu submenu great app! A css dropdown menu title tooltip couple of quick questions. One - the liferay navigations panel css generator places stylesheets inside the <body> tag instead of <head>, so was wondering if it is intentional. Another is that it does not quite work if I place the sharepoint 2007 submenu in dropdown navigation stylesheet in the css based navigation menus external file. The nested menu items get displayed outside of the menu display area. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried different linking methods with <link> and @import, but it only works if I use the jquery transparent drop down menu stylesheet internally.
