Overview

CSS3 is changing how we build the web. Even though many of us are still disinclined to start using CSS3 due to the lack of support in some browsers, there are those out there that are moving forward and doing some amazing Css3 Dropdown Menu Blogger stuff with its cool new features. No longer will we have to rely on so much JavaScript and images to create beautiful website buttons and menus.

You can create a fancy rounded navmenu with gradients, with no images and no Javascript. This menu works perfectly well with Firefox, Opera, Chrome and Safari. The drop down also works on non-CSS3 compitable browsers such as IE7+, but the rounded corners and shadow will not be rendered. CSS3 transitions could one day replace all the nice javascript animation things.

How to use

1) Open Drop Down Menu HTML software and click "Add item" and "Add submenu" buttons situated on the Drop Down Menu HTML Toolbar to create your Css Fancy Navigation Bar menu. You can also use "Delete item" to delete some buttons.

2) Use ready to use Templates. To do it just select theme you like in the "Templates" list. Double-click the theme you like to apply it.

3) Adjust appearance of the menu.
3.1. Select item by clicking it and change button appearance for normal and hover states and set buttons link properties and link target attributes on the "Main menu" tab.
3.2. Select submenu's item by clicking it and change submenu's appearance for normal and hover states and set submenu's item link properties and link target attributes on the "Submenu" tab.

4) Save your menu.
4.1. Save your project file. To save project just click "Save" button on the Toolbar or select "Save" or "Save As" in the Main menu.
4.2. Publish your menu in the HTML format. To do it click "Publish" button on the Toolbar.

Great Software, Easy to use. One question? How long will we have to build our alternative color dropdown menu sites with the fading hover menu css IE6 workarounds? If a wp sliding menu css customer isn’t updating his nice looking drop down navigation browsers or if computers are not being updated, catering to their simpel html css menu flyout needs just makes the asp net dropdown menu rounded problem harder to fix and more work for us. hi , it's a javafx css popup menu really good app, works everything so well, really made things easy! one question, how do you make it multi-level? like when you hover over the css menubar example with display property sub-menu it opens another sub-menu?

I have got the entire CSS menu working good, but when the user mouses over the main menu item, I would like the css multi level vertical flyout menu submenu items to appear underneath it and go from left to right as oppossed to top to bottom (horizontal vs vertical). i.e. as per your pure css dropdown menu ie6 2010 example, home item would appear to the right of help section, and so on. any help would be greatly appreacited!!

So I should move both manually up and down, right? Fantastic software, instantly downloaded. I’ve used many of these menu drop down css with images menus, however I’m still wary of using CSS3 on live sites, but salivating over the prospect of it becoming de rigeur in the jquery drop down menu compatible galleria future, and lapping up everything I can about it in the meantime – so thanks for mega demo in particular.

Great tool. I had a home-grown css menu that was working, but not in IE7 - yours does - thanks. One problem I seem to be having is that while the menu work on the home page, when I click on a multidimentional drop down menu different menu option, the triple menu dropdown javascript menu repositions itself (incorrectly). if I click the dropdown css menu maker tables Refresh button, the css menu image gradient menu returns to the correct position. Any ideas/assistance would be much appreciated.

It works properly in IE 7 and 8, works fine in IE 9. The css tabsmenu maker drop down menus instantly disappear when trying to hover over them. I haven't a menu dropdown mybb plugin clue as to why this free jquery multilayer dropdown menu is happening. Have tried many different "fixes" on this comment section but still nothing. Any ideas? z-index doesn't work at all.

Open up your downloaded file in a 3 tiered navigation css web browser. Once open, right click and select view page source. Your code is now visible. You can either put the solpart dropdown submenu Styles code in an css tree menu freeware external css file and link to it, or use it on your page. The submenu css fixed size Menu section - bottom half of the code - should be positioned in your drop down menus horizontal style html code where you want it on your simple verticle dropdown menu web page. I have a problem as I added this dropdown menu in rapidweaver to my css expand menu delay blog, everything worked fine. However, when you click on gallery the drop down menu hides behind posts section and you can't see it or choose it. Can anyone help me? Hi I love the site and the menu css per fbml generator. The smooth drop down menus for website only negative would be that the css3 html5 floating menu navigation isn't accessible for people using screen readers as you can't use the css3 jquery menu bar coloured custom tab key to highlight and select through the menus.

I Build an extensive menu bar, which works great. Until I need to add an web menubar css style item to it. then comes to re-keying the vertical menu css multi level active whole thing back in again. And after two or three tries I get it right. On the fadeout dropline menu profile page it looks like you might be able to save a asp menu css template or menu bar. But I can find no place to do that. Can you tell me how to save my actionscript dropdown menu templates work to go back and make changes?

Ange, i'm a little bit of a css iphone menu dropdown newbie to coding but, what i did in Frontpage is i created a ebay style css menu layer and pasted the menu code in to the sharepoint 2010 css based navigation menus layer attributes of the javascript drop down menu example webpage, and the jquery vertical slide drop down menu <style> part of the menu code in to the cssmenumaker active tab header section of the sites code. Not sure if this is the best way to go about it but it worked. Hope that makes sence. As for anyone having problems with IE8 try placing <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge" /> After the typo3 contact form drop down menu <title> tag in the css map image menu code, it might get IE to recognize the css menu width stretch drop down features of the joomla navigation menu css CSS code... if not i tried ^.^

Hello and thank you for a great app! A amazing gradient drop down menue couple of quick questions. One - the css menu vertical examples generator places stylesheets inside the e107 css dropdown menu <body> tag instead of <head>, so was wondering if it is intentional. Another is that it does not quite work if I place the jquery dropdown menu creator plugins stylesheet in the external file. The magento templates mega dropdown menu nested menu items get displayed outside of the menu display area. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried different linking methods with <link> and @import, but it only works if I use the stylesheet internally. Obviously, for a sample smooth drop down tree menu big site it would be nice to have it all in one file with multiple pages referencing it.
